For Saving Liam

Liam could have filled Central Casting’s call for “vagabond dog needed”. This Great Pyrenees-mix had been roaming long enough to be covered from head to tip of tail with burrs, have sores on his legs, be very underweight, and have terrible ear infections. Despite his huge size, poor condition and obvious misery, we had our eye (and our name) on this gentle giant while he was on mandatory hold at Animal Services as a stray.

Original Pubished Date: April 19, 2008 edition of the Herald
